Melanie Martinez and Timothy Heller: Rape Allegation. Timothy Heller finally spoke after much time about Melanie Martinez raping her. It started on December 4th, with Timothy tweeting her story about Melanie allegedly raping her. She has told her story to the world about that night and many people have taken her side, against Melanie's. Melanie later denied it in another tweet. Melanie and Timothy were friends at the time and were trying to help each other write song lyrics for new songs. Apparently they were hanging out in a 2-day period. They were hanging out, smoking weed, and coming up with song lyrics when Melanie insisted on sex, but Timothy said no, repeatedly she claims. “I never said yes. I said no, repeatedly. But she used her power over me, and broke me down.”

Melanie had denied this many times saying that she never in fact raped her. This allegation has sparked the internet and was shared across many websites and gossip pages. Due to the allegations, many videos are made of ex-fans destroying her merchandise online. They have broken her albums, burned clothing, and deleted songs off of their playlist. Since then, Melanie has turned off comments on most of her social media since assuming she doesn't want more negativity, more than she is already getting. If Timothy decides to takes this further, she can press charges and could become one of the first charges of rape between two gay women rather than men and women or men and other gay men.

My opinion is that I think that this is all a hoax in trying to boost Melanie's new album that is supposedly coming out. They may just have came up with this to try to get more likes, views, and popularity on social media, and to spread the word of both artists. I think that it's untrue, even though it could be true as well.
