Here are some words that you need to know that are relevant to photography:

Trends: A general direction in which something is changing or developing.

Relevant: Closely connected or appropriate to what is being done or considered.

Aperture:A space through which light passes in an optical or photographic instrument, especially the variable opening by which light enters a camera.

Depth Of Field: The distance between the nearest and the furthest objects that give an image judged to be in focus in a camera.

White Balance: The color balance on a digital camera.

Shutter Speed:The time for which a shutter is open at a given setting.

ISO: Measures the sensitivity of the image sensor.

Rule Of Thirds: Is applied by aligning a subject with the guide lines and their intersection points, placing the horizon on the top or bottom line, or allowing linear features in the image to flow from section to section.

These are the words that anyone should know when working in photography or journalism. It would help them more with that subject if they knew what these words meant.
